How we handle your data when you visit synfonix.io or get in touch with us.
Last updated: 8 October 2026
The controller for data processing on this website is SYNAPTIX GmbH, Schönbrunner Straße 188, 1120 Vienna, Austria (company register no. FN 546451 f, Commercial Court of Vienna).
For questions about data protection, contact us at office@synaptix.at or +43 (0) 7202 71170. Further details are in our legal notice.
This website runs on servers of Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany, in a data centre in Germany. Hetzner processes the data on our behalf under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR).
When you visit the website, the server processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, requested page, amount of data transferred, referrer, and browser and operating system details. This data is used to deliver the website, keep it stable and fend off attacks (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). It is not combined with other data and is deleted once it is no longer needed for these purposes.
We use the “Inter” typeface. It is embedded when the website is built and served from our own server. Visiting the website does not open a connection to Google or any other font provider.
When you write to us via the contact or demo form, we process the data you provide: name, company, email address, optionally your phone number, and your message. We use it solely to answer your request and, where applicable, to arrange a demo.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual steps at your request) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in answering requests).
So that requests reach our team immediately, they are forwarded after submission to an internal channel via a bot of the Telegram messaging service (Telegram FZ-LLC, Dubai, United Arab Emirates). This means the data is processed outside the EU, in a country for which there is no adequacy decision by the European Commission.
The data is deleted once your request has been fully handled, unless it leads to a contract or statutory retention obligations apply.
To protect the forms against automated submissions, we use Cloudflare Turnstile by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Turnstile is loaded together with the forms and uses technical characteristics (including IP address, browser and device information) to check whether the input comes from a human. According to Cloudflare, Turnstile does not set cookies for tracking or advertising.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (protection against abuse and spam). Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which is the basis for the transfer to the USA.
If you contact us by email or phone, we process your details to handle your request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR).
Separate information applies to the SYNFONIX platform and the employee app: SYNFONIX app privacy policy.
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). To exercise them, contact office@synaptix.at.
If you believe that the processing of your data infringes data protection law, you may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Austria this is the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde), Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at.
We update this privacy policy when our website or the legal requirements change. The version published here applies.
